Beschreibung:
Einige Sicherheitslücken wurden in VLC Media Player gemeldet, die böswillige Personen ausnutzen können, um das System eines Benutzers zu kompromittieren.

1) Ein Fehler in dem ActiveX-Plugin von VLC Media Player kann ausgenutzt werden, um bestimmte Speicherbereiche zu überschreiben und beliebigen Code auszuführen, falls ein Benutzer z.B. eine bösartige Website besucht.

Hinweis: Dies betrifft nur die Windows-Version.

2) Einige Sicherheitslücken werden durch die Benutzung einer verwundbaren Version der FLAC-Bibliothek verursacht, welche mehrere Integer-Überläufe enthält.
