Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Microsoft Windows Vista, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.
The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the way the Windows Advanced Local Procedure Call (ALPC) validates certain conditions of legacy reply paths. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges.
