Beschreibung:
mu-b hat eine Sicherheitslücke in Mac OS X gemeldet, die böswillige lokale Benutzer ausnutzen können, um einen DoS (Denial of Service) zu verursachen.

Die Sicherheitslücke besteht in einem Fehler in der Verwaltung von Rückgabewerten von "hashes()" in der Funktion "cs_validate_page()" bei der Verarbeitung von signierten "Mach-O"-Programmen und kann ausgenutzt werden, um eine System-Panik zu verursachen.

Die Sicherheitslücke wurde in Mac OS X 10.5.1 gemeldet. Andere Versionen können ebenfalls betroffen sein.

Lösung:
Verwenden Sie Security Update 2008-003.
