|
|
Description: A vulnerability has been reported in JBoss Seam, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks against applications using the framework.
Input passed via the "order" parameter to the "getRenderedEjbql()" method contained within the org.jboss.seam.framework.Query class is not properly sanitised before being used to construct EJBQL queries. This can potentially be exploited to manipulate EJBQL queries by injecting arbitrary EJBQL code.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 2.0.0.GA.
Solution: Upgrade to version 2.0.0.GA or later.
Provided and/or discovered by: Antoni Jakubiak
