Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Hammer of Thyrion, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or to potentially compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing huffman encoded data within the "HuffDecode()" function in hw_utils/hwrcon/huffman.c and hexenworld/Client/huffman.c. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via a specially crafted huffman encoded packet.

The vulnerability is reported in version 1.4.2. Other versions may also be affected.

Update to version 1.4.3.
