Description:
Secunia Research has discovered multiple vulnerabilities in activePDF DocConverter, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to various errors within certain third-party file viewers and can be exploited to cause buffer overflows when a specially crafted file is converted into PDF.

The vulnerabilities are related to:
SA28209

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 3.8.4.0. Other versions may also be affected.
