Description:
Elazar Broad has discovered a vulnerability in Persits Software XUpload, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the ActiveX control (XUpload.ocx) when processing arguments passed to the "AddFolder()" method. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow via an overly long argument.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.1.0.1. Other versions may also be affected.
