Description:
nbbn has discovered some vulnerabilities in Woltlab Burning Board Lite, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site request forgery and SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "showposts", "sortby", and "sortorder" parameters in search.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

2) The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing any validity checks to verify the request. This can be exploited to e.g. delete threads by tricking a user with the necessary privileges into visiting a malicious site.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0.2pl3e, vulnerability #2 is also reported in Woltlab Burning Board Lite 2 Beta 1. Other versions may also be affected.
