AmnPardaz has reported some vulnerabilities in MODx Content Management System, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive information.
Input passed to the "file" parameter in assets/js/htcmime.php and to the "as_language" parameter in assets/snippets/AjaxSearch/AjaxSearch.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 0.9.6.1. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Apply patch. Reportedly, a fixed version will be available shortly.
