Description: ilmila has discovered a vulnerability in Plone, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed to e.g. the "Description" field when creating a "News Item" is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which is then executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when displaying LiveSearch results.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 3.0.3. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 3.0.4.
