|
Description: hadihadi and S.W.A.T. have discovered some vulnerabilities in NetRisk, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks and to compromise a vulnerable system.
1) Input passed to the "pid" parameter in profile.php is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
2) Input passed to the "page" parameter in index.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.9.7. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 1.9.7.patched.
