Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in Sun Java System Identity Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

1) Input passed to the "cntry" and "lang" parameters in /idm/login.jsp is not properly sanitised before being returned to a user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

2) Input passed to the "resultsForm" parameter in /idm/account/findForSelect.jsp and to the "activeControl" parameter in idm/user/main.jsp is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

Successful exploitation requires that the target user is logged in.

3) Input passed to the "helpUrl" parameter in /idm/help/index.jsp is not properly verified before being used to load sites in frames. This can be exploited to e.g. load a spoofed login page in a frame.

Note: It is also reported that the "nextPage" parameter in idm/user/login.jsp can be used to redirect users.

The vulnerabilities are reported in Sun Java System Identity Manager 6.0 (including SP1, SP2, SP3), 7.0, and 7.1.
