CVE-2008-0283
CVE-2008-0745

Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in DomPHP, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks, disclose sensitive information, or to compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to the "mail" parameter in welcome/inscription.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows e.g. creating new administrator users, but requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

2) Input passed to the "cat" parameter in agenda/index.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows e.g. retrieving administrator usernames and password hashes, but requires knowledge of the database table prefix.

3) Input passed to the "page" parameter in aides/index.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local or external resources.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 0.81. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised and verified.
