Description: shinnai has reported some vulnerabilities in Microsoft Visual FoxPro, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerabilities are caused due to certain ActiveX controls (e.g. vfp6r.dll) including the insecure "foxcommand()" or "DoCmd()" methods. These can be exploited to e.g. execute arbitrary commands on the system when a user visits a malicious website.
NOTE: The vendor disputes the "DoCmd()" method vulnerability since the ActiveX control is not e.g. "Safe for Scripting".
