|
|
Description: Ruben Ventura Piña (Trew) has discovered some vulnerabilities in ASP Photo Gallery, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "id" parameter in Imgbig.asp, thumb.asp, and thumbricerca.asp and the "ricerca" parameter in thumbricerca.asp is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation allows to e.g. disclose the administrator's username and password.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.0. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
Provided and/or discovered by: Ruben Ventura Piña (Trew)
Changelog: 2008-02-04: Added CVE reference.
