Description:
Sun has acknowledged a vulnerability in Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error within the libdevinfo library and can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain access to restricted files.

The vulnerability is reported in Solaris 10 for both the SPARC and x86 platforms.
