CVE Reference(s):
Scary-Boys and S.W.A.T. have discovered a vulnerability in Mini File Host, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information or to compromise a vulnerable system.
Input passed to the "language" parameter in pages/upload.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources. This can further be exploited to upload and execute arbitrary PHP code.
Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled and that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.2.1 and 1.2.1 Security Fix and reported in version 1.2. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution:
Update to version 1.2.1 Security Fix 2.
