Beschreibung:
Oliver Karow hat eine Sicherheitslücke in BitDefender Update Server entdeckt, die böswillige Personen ausnutzen können, um sensible Informationen zu enthüllen.

Eingaben durch die URL an den BitDefender HTTP Server (http.exe) werden nicht korrekt gefiltert, bevor sie verwendet werden. Dies kann durch Directory-Traversal-Attacken ausgenutzt werden, um beliebige Dateien anzuzeigen.

Eine erfolgreiche Ausnutzung setzt voraus, dass der BitDefender HTTP Server zur Verteilung von Updates verwendet wird.

Die Sicherheitslücke ist in BitDefender HTTP Server (http.exe) Version 2.5.0.0 bestätigt. Andere Versionen können ebenfalls betroffen sein.

Verwenden Sie den Patch.
