Description: Avaya has acknowledged a vulnerability in Avaya CMS / IR, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service), or to gain escalated privileges.

* Avaya CMS (R12, R13/13.1 and R14)
* Avaya IR 2.0 and 3.0
Solution: The vendor has implemented a workaround in all CMS versions. The vendor recommends that local and network access to the affected systems be restricted until an update is available.
