Description: 0in has discovered a vulnerability in Tiger Php News System, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "catid" parameter in index.php (when "page" is set to "newscat") is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation allows e.g. retrieving administrator password hashes.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 0.9.2. Other versions may also be affected.
