Description

Trend Micro has reported a vulnerability in ACDSee Photo Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error when processing .XBM files and can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via a specially crafted .XBM file.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 10.0, 9.0, and 8.1. Other versions may also be affected.
