Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in HP OpenView Network Node Manager, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the ovtopmd process and can be exploited to crash the process via a specially crafted packet sent to default port 2532/TCP.

The vulnerability is reported in versions 6.41, 7.01 and 7.51 on HP-UX B.11.00, B.11.11, and B.11.23, Solaris, Windows, and Linux.
