Description: Luigi Auriemma has discovered a vulnerability in various IEA Products, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or to potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a signedness error within the processing of HTTP POST requests sent to the management web server. This can be exploited to overwrite a pseudo arbitrary byte in memory with a zero via HTTP POST requests containing a negative "Content-Length" HTTP header.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is confirmed in Emerald version 5.0.49, RadiusNT and RadiusX 5.1.38, Radlogin 4.0.20, and Air Marshal 2.0.4. Other versions may also be affected.
