Description: Debian has issued an update for linux-2.6. This fixes some vulnerabilities, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to bypass certain security restrictions, cause a DoS (Denial of Service), disclose potentially sensitive information, and gain escalated privileges.

This also fixes missing security restrictions for certain symlinks in /proc on vserver-enabled kernels, which can be exploited to access resources of another vserver.
