Description:
Joren McReynolds has discovered some vulnerabilities in Akiva WebBoard, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct script insertion attacks.

Input passed via form field parameters when updating the profile page is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious profile data is viewed.

Successful exploitation requires valid user credentials

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 8.0. Other versions may also be affected.
