Mandriva has issued an update for cups. This fixes a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error when adding or removing remote shared printers via IPP. This can be exploited to crash the CUPS daemon by sending specially crafted IPP packets to a vulnerable service.
