Description

William Hicks and Chris Castaldo have discovered some vulnerabilities in AuthentiX, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "username" parameter in aspAdmin/editUser.asp, aspAdmin/deleteUser.asp, and potentially other parameters and files is not properly sanitised before being returned to an administrator. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in an administrator's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 6.3b1 Trial Version. Other versions may also be affected.
