Description: Long Poke has reported a vulnerability in Crysis, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a format string error in the Crysis engine when creating internal debug strings. This can be exploited by using a name containing format string specifiers.
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.1.1.5879. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Only play multi-player games on trusted, local networks.
