Description:
A vulnerability has been discovered in Programmer's Notepad, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error within the processing of ctags output. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow when a user e.g. opens a specially crafted ".c" file and uses the "Jump To" dialog.

Successful exploitation allows execution of arbitrary code.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 2.0.6.1. Other versions may also be affected.
