Beschreibung:
Parvez Anwar hat eine Sicherheitslücke in LANDesk Management Suite entdeckt, die böswillige Personen ausnutzen können, um sensible Informationen zu enthüllen.

Die Sicherheitslücke wird durch einen Fehler bei der Überprüfung von Eingaben in dem PXE-TFTP-Dienst (PXEMTFTP.exe) verursacht und kann durch Directory-Traversal-Attacken ausgenutzt werden, um beliebige Dateien von einem betroffenem System herunterzuladen.

Die Sicherheitslücke ist in PXEMTFTP.exe Version 8.70.7.1, wie in LANDesk Management Suite Version 8.7 SP5 ausgeliefert, und in Version 8.70.7.2 und 8.80.1.1 gemeldet. Andere Versionen können ebenfalls betroffen sein.
