Beschreibung:
Eine Sicherheitslücke wurde in dem Speedport W500 Router gemeldet, welche böswillige Personen ausnutzen können, um potenziell sensible Informationen zu enthüllen.

Die Sicherheitslücke wird verursacht, da die Login-Seite (b_banner.stm) das Passwort im Klartext enthält, was ausgenutzt werden kann, um das Passwort zu enthüllen und den Login-Mechanismus zu umgehen.

Die Sicherheitslücke betrifft Firmware-Version 1.00.

Lösung:
Beschränken Sie den Zugriff auf die Login-Seite.

Berichten zufolge arbeitet der Hersteller an einer Korrektur.
