Description:
0in has discovered a vulnerability in Home FTP Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the implementation of the FTP passive mode. This can be exploited to crash an affected server by connecting to the FTP data port while in passive mode, and closing the original FTP connection.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.4.5.89. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Restrict access to trusted users only.
