Description: sasquatch has reported some vulnerabilities in IBM Rational ClearQuest, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "contextid", "schema" and "username" parameters in the web interface is not properly sanitised before being returned to users. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected website.
Solution: Patches are reportedly available (please contact IBM Rational Support for detailed information).
Provided and/or discovered by: sasquatch, SecureState.
