Description: A vulnerability has been reported in Phorum, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to unspecified parameters in the search functionality is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that "mysql_use_ft" is set to "0" in include/db/config.php, which is not the default setting.
The vulnerability is reported in versions prior to 5.2.6.
Solution: Update to version 5.2.6 or later.
Provided and/or discovered by: Reported by the vendor.
