Beschreibung:
Eine Sicherheitslücke wurde in Webwasher gemeldet, die böswillige Personen ausnutzen können, um einen DoS (Denial of Service) zu verursachen.
Die Sicherheitslücke wird durch einen Fehler in der Verarbeitung von URLs verursacht, falls ein neueres Linux-System verwendet wird. Dies kann durch eine speziell präparierte URL ausgenutzt werden, um den Dienst anzuhalten.
Die Sicherheitslücke ist in den folgenden Produkten gemeldet:
* Webwasher Appliances 6.x (CGLinux 4 oder 5) vor Build Nummer 3150
* Webwasher Software Versionen vor 6.6.3 Build 3150 oder 5.3.0 Build 3159 auf:
- RedHat Enterprise Linux 4
- Debian Linux 4
- SLES 10
