Description:
J Fitzpatrick has reported a vulnerability in Interwoven WorkSite, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a double-free error in the Web TransferCtrl Class ActiveX control when handling the "Server" property. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary code when a user e.g. is tricked into visiting a malicious website.

The vulnerability is reported in Web TransferCtrl Class version 8.2.1.4. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to WorkSite Web 8.2 SP1 P2.
