Description:
A security issue has been reported in Adobe ColdFusion 8, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The security issue is caused due to the application setting insufficient access restrictions for CFC Methods. This can be exploited to access CFC Methods via Flex 2 remoting even if the access level is set to "public".

The security issue is reported in versions 8 and 8.0.1.
