Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Sun Solaris, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error within the handling of self encapsulated IP packets and can be exploited to crash an affected system.

The vulnerability is reported in Solaris 8, 9, and 10 for both the SPARC and x86 platforms.
