Description:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in phpBB, which can be exploited by malicious users to bypass certain security restrictions.

1) A vulnerability is caused due to insufficient access restrictions in the memberlist functionality. This can be exploited to search the memberlist by e-mail address and thereby connecting accounts with addresses.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires valid user credentials and the privilege to view the memberlist page.

2) A vulnerability is caused due to insufficient access restrictions in the PM attachment functionality. This can be exploited to view other users' attachments.

Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires valid user credentials, the privilege to view attachments in the PM system, and knowledge of the attachment ID.

The vulnerabilities are reported in version 3.0.0.

Solution:
Update to version 3.0.1.
