TsukasaGenesis and Ajax have reported a vulnerability in KwsPHP, which can be exploited by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system, and by malicious people to disclose sensitive information.
Input passed to the "action" parameter in eskuel/help.php is not properly verified before being used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources, and furthermore to execute arbitrary PHP scripts after uploading them as images.
Successful exploitation of the vulnerability for executing arbitrary uploaded PHP code requires valid user credentials.
The vulnerability is reported in version 1.3.456 downloaded before 2008-04-16. Other versions may also be affected.
