Description: Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in TR News, which can be exploited by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system, and by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "nb" parameter in news.php (when "mode" is set to "voir") is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows e.g. retrieving administrator usernames, password hashes, and e-mail addresses.
2) The admin/main.php script fails to validate the extension of an uploaded file. This can be exploited to upload files with the ".php" extension and execute arbitrary PHP code on the server.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires valid administrator credentials (but see #1).
3) Input passed to the "nb" parameter in news.php (when "mode" is set to "voir") is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
4) Input passed to the "login_ad" parameter in admin/login.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code and e.g. gain administrative access to the application.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 2.1. Other versions may also be affected.
