Description:
A security issue has been reported in Sony Mylo COM-2, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct spoofing attacks.

The security issue is caused due to the improper verification of SSL certificates presented by web servers. This can be exploited to conduct spoofing attacks and possibly gain knowledge of sensitive information.

The security issue is reported in Sony Mylo COM-2 (Japanese model only) firmware versions prior to 1.002.

Solution:
Update firmware to version 1.002 (see vendor advisory for more details).
