Description: Rook Security has reported some vulnerabilities in TorrentFlux, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site request forgery attacks and by malicious people or users to potentially compromise a vulnerable system.
1) It is possible to download a malicious PHP file via a torrent, which can then be accessed via html/downloads/<USER_NAME>/. This can potentially be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code.
2) The application allows users to perform certain actions via HTTP requests without performing any validity checks to verify the request. This can be exploited to e.g. download a malicious file via a torrent or add a new user by enticing a logged-in user to visit a malicious site.
The vulnerabilities are reported in version 2.3. Other versions may also be affected.
