Description: Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Acritum Femitter Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) or to disclose sensitive information.
1) An error within the FTP server can be exploited to cause the server to crash by e.g. sending multiple specially crafted RETR commands.
2) An error within the FTP server when handling RETR commands can be exploited to download arbitrary files by e.g. prefixing a requested file with "\\".
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.03. Other versions may also be affected.
