Description:
Neelima Premsankar has discovered a vulnerability in Acritum Femitter Server, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the FTP server and can be exploited to cause the server to crash by e.g. sending multiple specially crafted RETR commands.

The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.03. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Restrict network access to the FTP service.
