Description: InjEctOr and FishEr762 have discovered two vulnerabilities in phpDirectorySource, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "lid" parameter in show.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows e.g. retrieving administrator usernames and password hashes.
2) Input passed to the "login" parameter in admin.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation of this vulnerability allows e.g. logging in as administrator without valid administrator credentials.
Successful exploitation of either vulnerability requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.1.06. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
