Description: Core Security Technologies has reported a vulnerability in Invensys Wonderware InTouch, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the Wonderware SuiteLink Service (slssvc.exe) when handling Registration packets. This can be exploited to cause the service to crash via a specially crafted Registration packet containing an overly large length field sent to default port 5413/TCP.
The vulnerability is reported in WonderWare InTouch 8.0. Other versions and products with WonderWare SuiteLink versions prior to 2.0 Patch 01 may also be affected.
