Description: A vulnerability and a security issue have been reported in ChiCoMaS, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information or to conduct cross site scripting attacks.
1) Input passed to the "q" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) The problem is caused due to improper restrictions to config.inc, which contains the user credentials to access the MySQL database.
The vulnerability and the security issue are confirmed in version 2.0.4. Other versions may also be affected.
