Description:
Deniz Cevik has reported a vulnerability in Oracle Application Server, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The problem is that basic authentication in Oracle Application Server Portal can be bypassed to read the content of "/dav_portal/portal/" via a specially crafted session ID in the cookie, which is e.g. set when accessing "/pls/portal/%0A".

The vulnerability is reported in Oracle Application Server 10g Portal. Other versions may also be affected.
