Description: Fedora has issued an update for libid3tag. This fixes a vulnerability, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the "id3_field_parse()" function in field.c. This can be exploited to trigger the execution of an infinite loop and the consumption of large amounts of memory via a malformed ID3_FIELD_TYPE_STRINGLIST field.
Solution: Apply updated packages via the yum utility ("yum update libid3tag").
