Description:
t0pP8uZz has discovered a vulnerability in AustinSmoke GasTracker (AS-GasTracker), which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.
The vulnerability is caused due to improper access restriction to the administration section. This can be exploited to bypass the authentication mechanism and gain access to administrative pages by setting a specially crafted "gastracker_admin" cookie.
The vulnerability is confirmed in version 1.0.0. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution:
Edit the source code to implement proper access restriction.
